There are a wide variety of playgrounds throughout the Pennridge Community; some of these are better for certain circumstances. The first expert, Emma, stated that “I like swinging with my friends at the playground.” Our playground experts would recommend Emma to go to the Bedminster Elementary School playground since they have large numbers of swings and she would have plenty of options for both her and her friends. Bedminster’s playground also has a huge rock wall and a small zip line, which sounds very intriguing for any student, including high school students. Suplee Park, located in the Dublin area of the Pennridge Community, has some great options as well. Another playground expert, Justin, stated that “I like the whole playground, but my favorite thing is the slides.” The playground experts would recommend Suplee Park to Justin since this park includes many options for slides. Suplee also has new equipment and is very well maintained.
Other playgrounds in the Pennridge Community that are also great options include; Menlo Park and Markey Park. Menlo Park is located in the Perkasie area of the Pennridge Community and is right next to Menlo Pool which has waterpark-like features. Menlo is easily walkable for many people. Markey Park is also located in the Perkasie area of the Pennridge Community, off of Ridge Road, and has a large tire swing. Our playground experts would also recommend Markey Park to Justin because of the large tire swing.
There are a few dissatisfactory options as well for playgrounds in the Pennridge Community. Deibler Elementary School’s playground is not the best since it has two separate playgrounds and there are very few options of equipment. Kulp Memorial Park which is located in the Perkasie area of the Pennridge Community as well does not have many options for equipment and it is right next to a busy street which is not the safest option for children.
