’24-’25 SWIMMING & DIVING TEAM/ COACH ANSELMO:
Anyone interested in trying out for the ’24-’25 Swimming and Diving Team should come to an informational meeting during RAMS on Wednesday, October 9th. We will meet in the stands of the pool at 7:15 AM and you can meet the Coach, get the schedule for the season, and other information about the team prior to winter sports starting. GIRLS LACROSSE PLAYER/PARENT MEETING:
Please join us TODAY, Monday, October 7th, at 7 PM in LGI, for a girls lacrosse player/parent meeting to welcome Coach Dachowski and learn more about off-season and pre-season trainings.

PICTURE DAYS:
Picture Days will be held on Wednesday, October 9th, and Thursday, October 10th. Students should check the Student Picture list in their classrooms to check their scheduled day and time. Picture Retake Day will be Thursday, November 7th.
GUIDANCE DEPARTMENT:
Students, parents, and guardians are invited to attend our College Admissions and Selection Seminar on Thursday, October 24th, at 6:30 PM. In addition to providing information on the college application process, we will have a panel of admissions counselors available to educate everyone on the unique characteristics of the community college, state universities, and private colleges, as well as answer questions. The seminar will take place in LGI 3.3.
College-bound Students: TOMORROW, October 8th, the Guidance Department will be hosting a Financial Aid Seminar beginning at 6:00 PM in the auditorium. Fran McKeown from PHEAA will be here to discuss the financial aid process, give tips on applying, and answer questions. We encourage you and your parents to attend this very informative evening.
COLLEGE & CAREER CENTER:
There are a number of college visits scheduled this month. Among those visiting are Villanova, Bucknell, Manor, Lafayette, Rensselaer and Dickinson. The full list and registration information are available on Naviance. Stop by the College & Career Center, room 307 if you have any questions.
Attention Seniors Interested in applying to Shippensburg University: Shippensburg University will be offering an “Instant Decision Day” at Pennridge on Monday, October 14th. Interested students must register to participate and submit their application to Shippensburg by October 10th. Registration information can be found on CANVAS.
Bucks County Community College will be hosting a College Fair at their Newtown Campus on Wednesday, October 16th from 6:30 – 8:00 pm. This event is free and open to all high school students.
Faith Christian Academy in Quakertown will be hosting a Christian College Fair on Thursday, October 17th, from 6 – 8 PM. The fair is free and open to the public.
Bucks County Community College will be hosting an Open House at their Newtown Campus on Saturday, October 19th, from 11 AM – 1 PM. Registration information is available in the College & Career Center, room 307.
The 2024 Women in Science & Engineering (WISE) Forum will be held on Tuesday, November 12th, from 5:30 – 8:00 PM at the Da Vinci Science Center in Allentown. This is a free event for high school students; however, registration is required. More information is available in the College & Career Center.
Our Navy representative will be in the cafeteria during lunches on Tuesday, October 8th. And our Air & Space Force representative will be there on Thursday, October 10th. Stop by their table to say hello and ask questions about their branch of the military.
FELLOWSHIP OF CHRISTIAN ATHLETES (FCA)/ MR. ORLANDO:
Fellowship of Christian Athletes will be meeting Wednesday, October 9th, for a time of fellowship. Come on out for a short Bible study and a time in prayer to start your day off right. We will be meeting in room 100 from 7:00 AM to 7:40 AM during RAMS time. You do not need to be an athlete or Christian to attend. All are welcome. See you there!
FRENCH QUEBEC TRIP/ MISS HUGHES & MR. HESS:
For those students who have signed up for the French trip to Quebec in February 2025, there will be a mandatory informational meeting on Wednesday, October 9th, in room 359 during RAMs time. You MUST attend this meeting to provide information needed for rooming and communication during the trip. If you are unable to attend, please contact Miss Hughes as soon as possible.

SOCK-TOBER SOCK DRIVE:
Throughout the month of October, we are teaming up with “Socks for the Streets” and “The Giving Tree” to distribute socks to people suffering homelessness in Bucks & Montgomery Counties. Please drop off your NEW adult-sized socks in the main office.
STUDENT SUNSHINE CLUB/ MS. O’BRIEN & MRS. BAKER:
Do you want to help spread a bit of kindness across the Pennridge community? Come join the student sunshine club on Friday, October 11th, in room 350 during RAMS time.
