FRESHMAN BOYS BASKETBALL/ COACH ALTMIRE:
There will be a freshman boys basketball open gym on Thursday, November 14th, from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM in the Green Gym.
COLLEGE & CAREER CENTER:
Midshipman Nathan Smith, a junior at the United States Naval Academy, will be visiting on November 25th to share his experiences with interested students. Please register on Naviance if you would like to learn about the application process and life as a cadet.
The International Association of Heat & Frost Insulators and Allied Workers JAC Training Center is hosting an open house on Tuesday, November 19th, from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM. There will be hands-on demonstrations and informational sessions about their apprenticeship program. Applications for the program will also be available. Please stop by the College & Career Center for more information.
An admissions counselor from Albright College will be visiting on November 20th. Please register on Naviance if you would like to attend.
Our military representatives will be available during lunches for questions on the following days: PA Army National Guard, TODAY, November 11th; US Navy, TOMORROW, November 12th, and U.S. Marines, Wednesday, November 20th.
Bucks County Community College will be hosting Dual Enrollment Information Sessions for those interested in this program. The Upper Bucks Campus in Perkasie will host a session on Thursday, November 14th, at 6:00 PM. A virtual session will also be held on Wednesday, December 11th. HUGH O’BRIAN YOUTH LEADERSHIP PROGRAM/ MS. HALL:
Attention Sophomores! Are you interested in attending a leadership seminar? The Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Program sponsors a State Leadership Seminar each year for high school sophomores. Pennridge High School selects two sophomores to attend this event and will cover all fees. This experience offers students the opportunity to explore their leadership potential through an interactive group model. The weekend will focus on a curriculum which allows students to develop leadership skills from a personal, group, and socially responsible perspective. The State Leadership Seminar will be at Neumann University in Aston, Pennsylvania from Friday, June 13, 2025 – Sunday, June 15, 2025. If you would like to apply to be selected as one of Pennridge High School’s sophomore representatives, the application can be found on the Class of 2027 Canvas page. The deadline to apply is November 20th. Completed applications should be returned to the Class of 2027 house office, room 304.

CANNED FOOD DRIVE/ STUDENT COUNCIL:
We are excited to announce our upcoming Canned Food Drive! Let’s come together to support our community and make a difference. The drive will begin TODAY, November 11th, and end on Friday, November 22nd. Bring your canned food donations to your 2nd block class. The 2nd block class with the most donations will win a donut party! Items Needed: Canned fish & tuna, canned meat and beans, canned chili and stew, canned fruits and vegetables, soup, gravy, condiments, pasta, and rice. Let’s show our generosity and school spirit by contributing as much as we can. Every can counts! Thank you for your support!
GERMAN CLUB/ MRS. GOODRICH:
Attention, German Club members and those interested in joining or just learning a bit more about history, Did you know that this year celebrates the 35th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall? Did you know that Germans celebrate the reunification of East and West Germany as a national holiday? German Club will gather TOMORROW, November 12th, to learn about the fall of the Berlin Wall. Come learn about this important time in world history, hold a piece of the Berlin Wall, analyze Berlin Wall graffiti, and watch videos. Join us from 2:20-3:45 PM in room 242. Bring a snack to share.
ROCKU/ MR. RABUCK:
On Friday, Nov 15th, The RockU club will host three Pennridge student bands at the tent pavilion at the RAM in Perkasie. Come out to hear live music from the past and present. And, if you bring a canned or dry food donation for Pennridge Fish, you’ll get a free hot chocolate. Remember, one great rock show can change the world.
