GERMAN DEPARTMENT “KRAMPUS AROUND THE CAMPUS” EVENT/ MRS. GOODRICH:
Hi Pennridge. Froehliche Weihnachten! Have you seen this mysterious figure? Do you know who this is? This is Krampus and in many areas of the German-speaking world, Krampus accompanies Saint Nicholas to households on December 6th to help him figure out who the good and bad boys and girls are. While Saint Nicholas is a jolly good elf, Krampus is the carrier of sticks and coal and if you are on the bad list, well, good luck and watch out!! Thanks to the German department, Krampus is hiding somewhere in the school every day this week. If you find him, pull him down and bring him to Frau Goodrich and Herr Garrison in rooms 242 or 243 and you will get a prize. Happy hunting!!
