CLUB FAIR:
On Wednesday, September 25th, and Thursday, September 26th, PHS will host a Club Fair during FLEX time (7:15 AM – 7:40 AM). Many of our club officers will be available to supply information and specifics on what their club does and when they meet. Students will have the opportunity to browse the many clubs available at PHS and hopefully get involved in their high school community.
GUIDANCE DEPARTMENT:
Juniors and Seniors: Our College and Career Fair will be held on Tuesday, September 24th, during Blocks 1 and 2. A list of attendees is posted on Naviance and in CANVAS. Please take time to review the list so that you can make the best use of your time. This is a great opportunity to gather information on prospective colleges and careers. AM Tech students who would like to attend must register in the College & Career Center, room 307, by TODAY, Friday, September 20th. Other students DO NOT need to register to attend the fair. An announcement will be made to dismiss those interested in attending.
COLLEGE & CAREER CENTER:
During the school year, college, military, and trade school representatives visit Pennridge to share information with our students. We encourage students from all grade levels to take advantage of these opportunities. We have quite a few visits scheduled next week which include Bucks County Community College, Princeton, Lehigh, Hofstra Universities, Harrisburg University of Science & Technology, Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and University of Rochester. Seniors: Applications for the Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps Marine Option (ROTC) Scholarship are now open. Interested students can stop by the College & Career Center for more information.
HOMECOMING SPIRIT WEEK/ STUDENT COUNCIL:
Monday, September 23rd, begins the lead-up to our Great Gatsby Homecoming, and the beginning of our Homecoming Spirit Week! Show your school spirit on Monday and rock your best pajamas. Get comfy and help us kick off Homecoming right.
THRIFTING FOR THON/ MRS. GORDIENKO:
Looking for a homecoming dress or clothing, but don’t want to pay hundreds of dollars? Come Thrift for THON! From Monday September 16th, through Friday, September 27th, Mini-THON will be selling gently used and new clothing, shoes, and accessories for homecoming. Stop by room 324 after school from 2:30-3:00 PM. Check the flyers around the school for additional details and pricing.

FRIENDS OF CHRISTIAN ATHLETES (FCA)/ MR. ORLANDO:
Fellowship of Christian Athletes is back!! FCA will be meeting every Wednesday for a time of fellowship. Come on out for a short Bible study and a time in prayer to start your day off right. We will be meeting in room 100 from 7:00 AM to 7:40 AM during RAMS time. You do not need to be an athlete or Christian to attend. All are welcome. See you there!
KEY CLUB/ MRS. GRIMSHAW:
Key Club is an international organization whose focus is on community service. The key characteristics that we uphold are leadership, character building, caring, and inclusiveness. If this sounds like something that describes you, you should join Key Club for the 2024-2025 school year! Returning members can find the membership form on the Key Club page and new members can find the membership form on your Canvas Class page. Once the form is completed AND a check for dues of $20, made payable to Pennridge High School, is submitted to Mrs. Grimshaw in room 372 or Ms. Hoffman in room 375, you may start recording your hours. Make sure to join/rejoin by October 1st.

Are you interested in discussing and debating world politics? Do you want to represent and defend a nation and its interests? If so, then join the Model United Nations Club.
