GIRLS SOFTBALL/ COACH MARINELLI:
Any girls in interested in playing for the softball program this upcoming Spring, we will have a player-parent meeting on Thursday, October 10th, at 6:30 PM in LGI 3.1. We will discuss player expectations, winter workouts, scheduling, and more. Please be sure to attend if you are considering trying out for the team. See you there!
AFTER SCHOOL INSTRUCTIONAL SUPPORT/ MAIN OFFICE:
After School Instructional Support will begin TUESDAY, October 2nd, from 2:25 PM to 4 PM. Beginning next week, After School Instructional Support will be offered on both Tuesdays & Thursdays. Students can choose from Science, room 238, with Ms. Fusco, Social Studies, room 318, with Mr. Gombar, Writing Lab & English, also room 318, with Mr. Gombar, and Math – Algebra through Pre-Calc, room 238, with Ms. Fusco. The library is open Mondays through Thursdays until 3:30 PM and on Friday until 3 PM. Buses will be available at the Main Entrance and depart at 4:45 PM. You must sign up for the bus in the main office by 2:30 PM. We do not have a 4 PM bus.
CLASS OF 2025 – DISNEY TRIP:
Class of 2025 – Any senior who wants to attend the class trip to Disney must turn in the first deposit by October 1st to reserve a spot. See Mr. Hughes, Mrs. Grimshaw, or Mrs. Sheppard with any questions.
CLASS OF 2025 – SENIOR IDS:
Have you had your senior portraits done? Are you missing your ID? We may have the answer.
The photographers brought some senior IDs to us; maybe we have YOURS! Come to the House Office and check with Mrs. Fronstin or Mrs. Martin.
GUIDANCE DEPARTMENT:
College-bound Students: Tuesday, October 8th, the Guidance Department will be hosting a Financial Aid Seminar beginning at 6:00 PM in the auditorium. Fran McKeown from PHEAA will be here to discuss the financial aid process, give tips on applying, and answer questions. We encourage you and your parents to attend this very informative evening.
COLLEGE & CAREER CENTER:

The 2024 Women in Science & Engineering (WISE) Forum will be held on Tuesday, November 12th, from 5:30 – 8:00 PM at the Da Vinci Science Center in Allentown. This is a free event for high school students; however, registration is required. More information is available in the College & Career Center.

Join us as we present Good Black News or short Black History, play games, have academic check-ins, and enjoy each other’s company. Key Club is an international organization whose focus is on community service. The key characteristics that we uphold are leadership, character building, caring, and inclusiveness. If this sounds like something that describes you, you should join Key Club for the 2024-2025 school year! Returning members can find the membership form on the Key Club page and new members can find the membership form on your Canvas Class page. Once the form is completed AND a check for dues of $20, made payable to Pennridge High School, is submitted to Mrs. Grimshaw in room 372 or Ms. Hoffman in room 375, you may start recording your hours. Make sure to join/rejoin by October 1st.
