Dental Office Thriving

Lewis Dental Group has seen much growth and great accomplishments made through the last year. Right in the center of our hometown, Lewis Dental Group sits, continuously bringing in more and more smiling faces. This company has been around for a decent amount of time and Dr. Brooke Lewis is the main reason why the whole company grew to where it is today.

Businesses throughout the pandemic had massive concerns about where the whole pandemic will lead their business. Owners of franchises and smaller companies began holding their breath because they didn’t know if they would stay afloat during this entire outbreak. About 7.7 million people lost their jobs during the course of the pandemic. Lewis Dental Group viewed the shutdown as an opportunity instead of a fallback. Throughout this time, the office had been quite aware of the hard work that would follow Covid. Manager, Danya Bartron, said, “ The hardest part to keep under control was having each and every patient rescheduled and making sure they know what is going on with our office.” The rescheduling of patients took weeks and weeks for many employees to try and do. Still, the entire office went under construction. During the COVID-19 shut down they had the building flipped, replacing all flooring and changing the hygiene rooms to better the working area. Additionally, new equipment was installed.

Knowingly, having trustworthy patients made the entire situation much better. They knew that they would have people coming back in when the place reopened with excitement, to be out and seeing everyone there. Dr. Lewis, the owner of the company, has been open about the changes and what the business has been trying to do to better itself in any way possible. “The main concern was making my workers and the patients aware of safety. The cleaning process has changed, and protective equipment is important so everyone can feel as safe as possible under said conditions.” He went further explained all the latest updates on what every worker had to wear now. Along with a mask and scrubs which is normal, they now have a huge white drape-like cover and wear face shields too.

With changes that have been made and the way everyone came together, every person can feel comfortable enough to enter the workplace without fear.
