Luxicure, a local nail salon, is located in Hilltown Crossings and goes above and beyond for its clients. I was thoroughly impressed with my own experience and plan to visit again. Located at 1577 Bethlehem Pike, the salon is impressive with its service, cleanliness, pricing, and overall atmosphere. Especially compared to other past nail salons, I am impressed with their abilities and attitudes. 

Luxicure offers many services to customers. This includes manicures, pedicures, acrylic sets, liquid gel sets, SNS nails, waxing, and much more. My friend Anna Bartron, a senior at PHS, and I both received liquid gel sets. They took their time with our nails during the process and were very thorough with the designs we wanted. Asking Anna about her experience she explained, “Out of 5, I would give them a 4.5 rating, overall very good- the service was very nice, and they showed care in the quality of design”. Compared to other nail experiences, Luxicure was much more impressive. Anna explains “From a previous location, they rushed us a lot and there were misinterpretations between what we wanted and what they did; Luxicure was the best experience”. Another factor that stood out to me was the cleanliness of the nail salon. It carried a very open, calm, and relaxing feel. 

While all this is great, a big component is always the price. At Luxicure, a full gel set costs $45 and is an extra $20 for intricate designs from your nail technician (not including tip). Though this may seem expensive, in comparison to others for effort and design I believe it to be worth it. According to Jess Cranford, a college student in Philadelphia, she would estimate a full set with designs to be above $100 in the city. With her last nail experience she stated, “They were roughly $70, $90 dollars plus tip and did not include any special designs”.  Comparatively, Luxicure has a much better price range. Their current hours are 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday. If inclined, be sure to check out Luxicure and comment below your own experience!
