The shop has lots of seating inside, as well as outside, and they even have a chalkboard to doodle on. One negative thing about Owowcow is the pricing is somewhat high. Dairy Queen would be the perfect place for you, especially if you are craving something salty or a meal to go along with your ice cream. Lauren Mauer, an employee at the local Dairy Queen in Perkasie, PA says, “If we sell hot food, it is mainly pretzels or hotdogs.” Dairy Queen has both indoor and outdoor seating options, and there are several options for ice cream and food. Mauer says, “My favorite thing about working at Dairy Queen is the people I work with and making ice cream, it is very fun.” 

Would you prefer a local option that also sells coffee? Hickory Stick in Perkasie, PA would be the place for you. The pricing at Hickory Stick is moderate, and along with ice cream, they have goodies such as water ice, milkshakes, coffee, and pound cake. Rylee McIntyre, an employee at Hickory Stick says, “The pound cake is extremely popular, and people are willing to pay $17 a loaf.” The inside of the store is somewhat small, and there are tables outside to sit and enjoy the treats. 

Are you interested in a cheap option with large portion sizes? Kool Licks is your place. Kool Licks sells goods such as water ice, milkshakes, coolers, shakers, gelatos, and sundaes.  One disadvantage of Kool Licks is the parking is not very accessible, there is mainly parallel parking. Also, Kool Licks does not have a drive-through or an indoor store, only a window where you order your ice cream. The cheap price of the ice cream may be worth these inconveniences for you. 

Each ice cream place has its benefits as well as downfalls. There may be endless arguments about which location is best, but in the end, ice cream is ice cream. Treat yourself to whatever place you prefer!
