Jump Your Heart Out

As a teen from the Pennsylvania suburbs, I can speak on behalf of most teens that it gets boring. We try to entertain ourselves by driving around, walking around stores, or hanging out at a friend’s house but all of that can get old pretty quickly. To try and switch things up, my friends and I went to Sky Zone. Sky Zone is an indoor trampoline park consisting of 140 chains in five different countries including the United States, Canada, and Kuwait. Sky Zone isn’t just a room of trampolines there are many activities incorporated in, as well as activities not relating to trampolines.

Freestyle Jump
If you’re looking to jump around or show off your best tricks the freestyle jump area is where you want to be. There are many square personal trampolines as well as tumble tracks that are long and rectangular. The “walls” enclosing the freestyle jump area are also trampolines for you to jump off of. This area is a great place to be creative and jump your heart out.

SkySlam
The sky slam is where you can practice your best dunking. With three different heights of basketball nets, anyone can test how high they are able to jump, and how well they can dunk.

Ultimate Dodgeball
If dodgeball was your favorite game to play in gym class this is where you want to spend all your time. Dodgeball but on trampolines! Jump as high as you want while throwing the ball at your opponents.

Foam Zone
The Foam Zone is the best spot in the gym to learn your latest tricks. When jumping into a foam pit all fear goes away and you can get the form down. Once you get your form down you can go over to the Freestyle Jump to perfect it. The Foam Zone is a fan favorite, Kaitlyn Bumpers says, “the foam pit was my favorite part because I felt like I had a lot of space to jump. It was also the most fun overall.”

Challenge Zone
The Challenge Zone is the elementary school playground over top of a foam pit. The classic monkey bars, cargo net, and balance beam are all found here. SkyZone puts a twist on these things as well to make more challenges for you to get across.

Skyzone is a great place for anyone of all ages to go. My friends and I enjoyed our time and the activities they had to offer. Other than the activities mentioned before Skyzone has a rock wall and virtual reality if you want a break from the trampolines for a minute. If you get hungry while you are jumping or are looking for a snack afterward head over to the Fuel Zone and grab a bite. Paige Swartley said, “the best snack for after the jump was a soft pretzel.” Along with soft pretzels there are many other snacks for everyone.
