The spring and summer of 2024 are packed with lots of great concerts if you are in or around south-eastern Pennslyvania. These concerts have a great range of artists, from up-and-coming artists like The Front Bottoms, with only 1.8 million monthly listeners, to larger artists like Pitbull, aka. Mr. Worldwide, for his worldwide prevalence. His monthly listerns stand around 48.6 million. Out of the concerts coming to Pennslyvania in the next couple of months, these are a few we are most excited about.

The Front Bottoms are the first band we chose. This smaller alternative/ indie band is celebrating 10 years with the full performance of Talon of the Hawk, their most popular album, in addition to some of their hit songs. They are coming to the SteelStacks in Bethlehem, PA, on May 18. One of the great things about this concert being at the SteelStack is that the venue is outdoors. According to avid concert go-er Jude Barley, “…An out venue is a much better experience because when you are using an outdoor venue, the sound is better compared to being indoors, and it’s not confined.” The gates open at 6:30 pm for an event intended for all ages. The tickets are cheap, with general admission set at $35.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers are also coming to Pennslyvania this summer. This concert is farther west than a lot of the others mentioned. This event is located in Burrgettstown, PA, which is close to the Ohio-Pennsylvania border. Despite this, if you are still interested, the band is performing on July 2 at the Pavilion at Star Lake. They will be joined by guest performer IRNONTROM and one other which has yet to be determined. This concert is a part of their Unlimited Love tour, and the North American leg of the tour is from May 28- July 30. Ticket prices range from $62.20 for the lawn area to $539.40 for pit tickets.

Shifting into a band for people who love nineties music, next up is the Foo Fighters. The Foo Fighters will perform at Hershey Park Stadium in PA on July 23. This performance will be a part of their Everything or Nothing Tour that began on May 1. This concert currently consists of a twenty-four-song lineup featuring The Hives and Amyl and the Sniffers as the guest bands. Their tour ends on August 18, and tickets for the Hershey concert range from $130 to $1,176, before fees. The show is set to start at 5:30 and run till late into the night.

Keeping with our choice of nineties bands: Blink-182. Blink-182 will perform at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia on July 26 with guest bands Pierce the Veil and Astronoid. This performance is a part of their One More Time tour and is set to start at 7 pm. Tickets currently range from $90 to $300, with VIP packages set at around $400. The wonderful thing about this concert is that part of the proceeds will go towards the Living the Dream Foundation. The purpose of this organization is to “make dreams come true” for music fans who are living with life-threatening illnesses. So, if you love Blink-182, this is definitely the concert to attend not only for your own enjoyment but also to know that your ticket funds are being put towards a phenomenal cause.

Last but not least, Pitbull is coming to PA this summer to play at Hershey Park Stadium with T-Pain on August 24. VIP tickets currently range from $44.90 to $575 and standard admission tickets are from $39 to $500. This concert is a part of his Party After Dark tour, which is fitting because this concert starts at 7 pm. According to former musician Adam Rabuck, night concerts are the best because “The freaks come out at night and … if I had to choose, I would play at night.” Night concerts can be a better experience not only for concertgoers but for musicians performing them as well.

These are just some of the concerts that are coming to PA this summer. Hopefully, this list has provided you with some great information and ideas of concerts to look into if you are in the area and would love to see any of the above bands in concert. Have fun this summer in PA and rock on at one of these thrilling concerts!
