Are you constantly looking for something fun to do in our area? If so, this is the perfect place to go. Freddy Hill Farms is a beautiful complex that includes two miniature golf courses, batting cages, a driving range, a golf pro shop, and so much more. A short walk up a sidewalk takes customers to a picnic area, the dairy store, and the ice cream parlor. Located in Lansdale, Pennsylvania, the wide variety of activities will please people of all ages.

There is no doubt how unique Freddy Hill Farms is. Natalia, who has been working at Freddy Hill for almost a year, says it’s one of the best spots for entertainment because there is no other place like it. “We offer mini-golf, batting cages, and ice cream all in one, you really only find those places at the beach, so it’s awesome to experience it here and not have to go the whole way to the shore .” Going on a Sunday afternoon in March was not very busy and it only took our group of four 30 minutes to play one of the mini-golf courses. However, the parking lot is full in the summer almost every day. “Lines are out of the park and in the parking lot during summer days,” said Natalia on how busy they usually are.

The fun center has two 18 hole mini-golf courses. The first course is Waterfront Adventure, and it has four water features and rustic buildings. The other course is Discover America, and it is an adventure through our country’s landmarks. Each hole is designed and named after a notable landmark. It is a fun and interactive way to learn more about our country. “My favorite part about Freddy Hill Farms is playing mini-golf with my friends,” says Kyle Moran, a Perkasie resident who visits frequently. “Since there are two courses, you don’t get tired of it,” said Moran on the luxury of two courses. They offer many discounts in pricing, including senior discounts, and moms and dads play free with a paying child on Wednesday and Friday, respectively, until 5 p.m. Weekdays before 5 p.m. cost $6 and $8 after 5 p.m.

The driving range comes with many options to please any golfer. There is a section of stalls that are covered and some out in the sun. There is artificial turf and natural grass to accommodate all skill levels. You are more than welcome to bring your clubs, but if you don’t have your own, you can rent some for an additional cost. There are four bucket-size options: small for $6, medium for $7, large for $9, and jumbo for $12. Located near the driving range is a pro shop. Inside the pro shop is a very experienced staff who can assist you in buying any new club you need. The shop has anything a golfer needs, like golf shoes, clubs, balls, tees, clothing items, etc. Freddy Hill Farms has also recently opened up a golf studio behind the ice cream parlor. This allows golfers to practice their game all year round. They have the opportunity to play on a simulator that enables them to play on over 26 world-class courses worldwide.
Freddy Hill Farms also has a fantastic batting cage complex. They have various pitching speeds and even have pitches for slow-pitch softball. Helmets are required, but you can borrow one if you don’t have one. They also rent bats for no additional cost. One ticket costs one dollar and fifty cents, which will get you approximately 15 pitches. They sell bundles of six tokens for $7.50 and 60 tokens for $60. The complex is friendly for all skill levels for baseball and softball.

Although Freddy Hill Farms has a lot of fun to offer, arguably the biggest reason to visit is for their unbelievable ice cream and dairy store. All of the ice creams are made homemade weekly, and it was named the “Best of Philly” by Philadelphia Magazine. They offer over 30 flavors, and they weigh the ice cream by weight to price it. The dairy store offers a wide variety of items. Freddy Hill Farms prides itself on the quality of milk they produce, and they process and package a full line of milk. They also offer chocolate milk and other seasonal flavors like pumpkin spice. “I would rank the ice cream an 8/10. It is arguably the best ice cream in our area, but it is expensive. However, that is justified by the amazing quality”, said Moran on how this ice cream compares to others in the area. Another thing to mention is that you pay for the ice cream by the cup’s weight.

Freddy Hill has so much to offer that you won’t be able to do it all in one trip. This makes customers keep coming back because each visit they can try something new. So, if you want something fun to do, go to Freddy Hill Farms!
