Tourism is highly sought after amongst the many people living in the United States and other countries. Vacations act like investments. The money that it costs to go on vacation, no matter how big or how small, does not compare to the memories that will be made during your time away from home. Traveling all around the United States and the world is an experience one will never forget. Most places that tourists visit are the historical buildings and other places that history has been made, not only in the United States, but everywhere around the world. They visit places like the Statue of Liberty or the Pearl Harbor memorial. The top five, in no specific order, are Rome, Italy, Cancun, Mexico, Miami, Florida, Paris, France, and London, England.

The most popular tourist spots include a great view on top of the historical aspect of the buildings that are in the area. There are many different places to go and things to see in Paris. There are places like the Louvre Museum, which is a very important landmark that is an art museum with vast collection. There is also the Arc de Triomphe, which is a national monument. Paris is one of the hottest tourist locations because of the famous Eiffel Tower. The Eiffel Tower is an amazing landmark from the 19th century that is 324 meters high.  Maddie Geib, a student at Pennridge High School, went to France herself and said, “Even though the Eiffel Tower is the most touristy spot, it was very cool to climb and it was an awesome experience. I had a cool tour guide. The guide talked about the history of France and pointed out different important buildings and attractions in France.” Being able to experience another country was truly amazing for Maddie and her family. She was able to learn about the history of France and was able to see all the different important buildings and attractions all while actually being in another continent. Activities like these bring families closer together, and allows for new memories to be forever cherished.

Vacations are not all about seeing new things and learning things. Vacations are also about letting the stress out of your system and just relaxing amongst your closest family and friends. Mr. Dyer was able to experience the stress free lifestyle while on vacation. He visited Miami, Florida, one of the most popular vacation spots in the world. In Florida, the beaches are one of the biggest things people visit Miami for. They also have an amazing seaquarium with many different types of fish and other sea creatures. Dyer said, “The vacation was very relaxing, chill, and laid back… Using uber is a great way to keep from being stressed. When traffic is bad, using uber is a lot more laid back and a go with the flow type feel.” Being able to destress from the real world is an amazing feeling.
