Advancements for a Healthier Future

Technology, is it advancing our healthcare systems or are we not working hard enough? Well join me as I teach you about the newest, latest, and greatest advancements we’ve made in the last few years.  Some of us might wonder what we are developing to help with the fight against the coronavirus, well one thing I can tell you is robots. We are learning to make robots that can disinfect the halls of hospitals with ultra violet lights, or help nurses with their routine task so they can focus more on helping their sick patients. How about them helping warn police of who isn’t staying in quarantine when they have the virus or helping deliver meals to those in quarantine. Worried that your loved one might contract the virus in the fight to administer the test, well we can thank the people developing these robots; they will be able to administer the test. These robots can be disinfected with hard chemicals while humans we can not.

Another discovery is Bluedot. This AI technology was able to correctly predict the spread of coronavirus before WHO and the CDC. The way it works is by going through information like news reports, airline data, or reports of animal disease outbreaks. This information can be shared with its users. We could have used it to discover the course the outbreak was going to take to protect our communities lives just a litter faster.

Genome sequencing: we can use this to find potential vaccines faster. We can use this to sequence the pathogens and find a vaccination within 16 weeks rather than take years to find the cure. This will help speed up the process of finding adequate therapies for faster cures to save more lives. This would also be able to eradicate diseases in your genes so you don’t have a potential of developing them. We can administer this through the use of pills rather than invasive surgery.

With the use of these new developments we have a glimmer of hope for a better future. This can help prevent the spread of viruses and colds while helping to find cures. While helping with those we’re also helping our healthcare workers through saving them from some of the stressful and tiring work they have on their shoulders. Would you join in the help of these developments if given the option? We can thank humanity for the work it has put in to these discoveries and hopefully learn more down the road.
