**SPOILER ALERT**

‘Spider-man: No Way Home,’ is the newest movie in the Spider-man franchise bringing in over $290 million domestically and over $600 million globally, according to Sony. The film has risen to the third best opening of all time. The Spider-man movies derive from the fictional Marvel Comics franchise. There are eight Spider-man movies in total and among those movies the main protagonist, Spider-man, is played by three different actors. Tobey Maguire was the original, following was Andrew Garfield, and now in recent years Tom Holland plays Spider-man. In the latest film, all three Spidermans are featured.

In the previous movie ‘Spider-man: Far From Home,’ Peter Parker’s identity gets revealed as Spiderman. ‘No Way Home,’ is about Peter Parker trying to erase his newly discovered identity to the public. In an attempt, Peter visits Dr. Strange, who is a powerful superhero in the Marvel franchise with magical abilities, to create a spell to wipe the public’s memory of him. Peter tries entwining other variables into the spell, causing the spell to backfire and bring back villains as well as the other Spidermans from different universes. All three Spidermans team up together in efforts of returning the villains back to their original universe.

Brielle Yencha and Olivia Hangey are both fans of the Spiderman series and didn’t pass up on the opportunity to catch the movie ‘No Way Home,’ in local theaters. “Beautiful, amazing, loved it, best movie of the year,” Olivia describes with a brightened facial expression, when asked her opinion on the movie. When Brielle was asked the same question she responded, “I was sobbing.” Olivia’s favorite aspect of the movie is how much they incorporated the past Spider-man movies into it. Out of all the movies in the series both Brielle and Olivia agreed this movie was their most beloved. Anna Hensler works at the Water Tower Cinema in Montgomeryville. While working she overhears conversations along the lines of, “Why did it end this way..,” or “…that was so good..,” coming from those who just finished seeing the movie. Anna personally felt the movie was “an emotional roller coaster,” and thought the three Spidermans were funny. Overall, it seems ‘Spider-man: No Way Home’ evoked a wave of emotional responses in most people and gave a great sense of appreciation for both long-time lovers of the series as well as new fans.
